Pure Rose × BLCKHAT
A rare hero ingredient. A loyal, ritual-driven customer. Here's our plan to turn that into compounding, profitable growth: retention that keeps subscribers, media buying that scales, and a site built to convert.

The opportunity is already here
We went through the site, the subscription flow, and the funnel before writing this. Pure Rose has the hardest things to build already in place: a hero ingredient, a real ritual, and devoted customers. Here's where the growth is hiding.
Subscription is the business, so churn is the lever
You already run monthly and 3-month delivery, and a bottle lasts roughly four weeks. That's a true consumable on a perfect replenishment cycle. But the moments that decide whether a subscriber stays, like failed payments, the pre-cancel screen, and the quiet lull between orders, are where most subscription brands lose revenue.
What we'd do Build the full Stay.ai and Klaviyo retention engine: dunning, pre-cancel save offers, replenishment nudges, and win-back. Keep more of every customer you already paid to acquire.
The product page is doing too much at once
The Nectar page asks a first-time visitor to choose servings, value pack, 1/3/6-pack, and subscription frequency all before they understand the product. That's a lot of decisions stacked on someone who just landed, and complexity at the moment of purchase is where conversions quietly slip away.
What we'd do Simplify the buying experience, lead with the subscription as the default, and A/B test the offer structure. Same traffic, more checkouts.
Media buying that should be working a lot harder
Paid is underperforming right now, and the irony is the brand is sitting on exactly what scales: "Calm is a Superpower," Bulgarian roses handpicked three weeks a year, and a wall of devoted customers. That equity lives on the site, but it isn't being turned into a creative and account structure that buys profitably at volume.
What we'd do Rebuild the account structure and turn the story into a real creative testing system: statics, UGC, and motion built around calm, ritual, and proof, structured to scale spend profitably across Meta and Google.
Three products, one ritual, more room to grow each customer
Nectar, Yummies, Mist, and the Rosehip Oil are a natural ecosystem, but most customers likely come in on just one. The recipes and the Learn content are a real engagement asset sitting mostly outside the email and ad funnel, where they could be doing conversion and retention work.
What we'd do Cross-sell flows and a campaign calendar that move one-product buyers into the full ritual, lifting average order value and lifetime value across the catalog.
Built by operators,
not an agency.
We've built and scaled multiple seven-figure agencies and run growth for some of the biggest names in DTC. BLCKHAT exists to do one thing well: own the levers that actually move a brand, retention, media buying, and conversion, and be accountable for the result. We’re in the trenches with our team executing, no hand-offs, no hiding behind dashboards.

Strategy
We start with the levers that matter for Pure Rose, then build the plan around them. No generic playbooks.
Execution
We don't just advise, we run it. Flows, media, and creative built and shipped by the same team that strategizes.
Accountability
Month to month, no retainer lock-in. We're measured on results, and we renew by earning it. Every month.
Two agencies, one team
Most brands have to stitch together a performance shop and a build shop and hope they talk to each other. With us, they're the same team. Growth and design under one roof, fully aligned, fully accountable.
The performance engine. Retention, media buying, creative, and conversion strategy for DTC brands that need to scale profitably. This is the team that owns the levers moving revenue every month.

Everything you'd want to know before we start. If something isn't here, just ask.
A shared Slack channel for daily communication, so you always have direct access to the team. We hold a weekly call to review performance and priorities, and deliver a full report every month tying the work to revenue. Email works too, and phone numbers are shared at kickoff.
Real growth is built, not flipped on overnight. Month one is foundation and testing: we get the flows, account structure, and creative live and start gathering signal. Month two is where real results start to show as we double down on what's working and cut what isn't. Month three is where it compounds, with retention, acquisition, and conversion reinforcing each other. Since it's month to month, you see the work prove itself before you ever feel locked in.
Lean ($12,500/mo) covers retention and email plus Meta media buying, creative direction, and landing pages. Full ($20,000/mo) is the whole engine: everything in Lean, plus Google media buying, in-house creative production (we make the assets, not just direct them), 12 email campaigns a month, intensive CRO, and brand direction. The more levers we run together, the more they compound.
Wire transfer is preferred and carries no fee. Credit card is also accepted, with a 3% transaction fee added. Billing is monthly, in advance.
Each tier covers up to $55,000 per month in managed ad spend, which fits the vast majority of brands at this stage. If spend scales beyond that, a 15% management fee applies only to the amount above $55,000. It keeps things fair both ways: you're never overpaying early, and as budgets grow, the resources behind them grow with you.
No. It's month to month with no retainer agreement, and you can cancel anytime. We execute, you renew. The model keeps us accountable: we earn the next month every month.
We kick off within a few days of signing. Onboarding covers access, goals, and priorities, and the first flows and campaigns are typically in build within the first week. You'll see momentum fast, not a month of setup.
Daily in Slack, a call every week, and a full performance report every month. You always know what's being worked on, what's shipped, and what it's driving.
It depends on how fast you want to move. Lean is a smart, focused start that proves out retention and acquisition without a big commitment. Full is the better fit if you want the whole funnel working together from day one, since the levers compound on each other and results tend to come faster. Either way it's month to month, so you can start where you're comfortable and move up whenever it makes sense. Happy to talk it through and point you to the right one for where Pure Rose is now.
